Facial exercise to put an end to flaccidity. Exercise your face!

Did you know that our face has 57 different muscles? Just like any other part of our body we can exercise and tone all of these muscles. The aim is to achieve an immediate push up effect on the facial muscles and this helps to reduce flaccidity. In this post we explain how to do these exercises to fight our facial flaccidity and wrinkles!

Exercises to help reduce flaccidity

Before beginning our facial exercise session, we have to wash our hands, next we remove our make-up with micellar water and carry out our daily facial hygiene routine, finally we hydrate the face and neck with MartiDerm ampoules.

We will do the following facial exercise routine a few times a week, repeating the circuit twice. We recommend beginning with the neck exercises and finishing at the forehead. Are you ready? Take note of this.

Exercise 1: For the neck and chin

To stretch the neck and the neckline do the following exercise. Put both of your hands on your chest (one on top of the other, very close to the bottom of your neck), lift your chin (moving your head back) and open your jaw. If the jaw movement is uncomfortable for you, do movements with your lips as if you are pouting. You should note how your neck and chin stretch to their limit. Do this 15 times.

Exercise 2: For the oval of the face

This exercise is great to avoid sagging cheeks. The bottom lip will cover your lower teeth. At the same time, your top lip is going to cover your upper teeth. With your mouth make a large “o”. From this position you should open and close your mouth, simulating the movement of an excavator. If you want to achieve more tightness you can press your chin with your hand. Do this between 10 and 20 times.

Exercise 3: To exercise all of the facial muscles.

Open your mouth very wide and pretend to shout for 6 seconds. Another exercise that you can do is inhaling and puffing up your cheeks. Hold in the air for a few seconds and then gradually release it. Do this 15 times.

Exercise 4: For the “crow’s feet”

Raise your forehead. Next, with your hands and fingers at the corners of your eye, stretch it outwards a little bit. Against this pull you should try to close your eyes for a few seconds. Relax your skin and repeat this exercise up to 20 times.

Exercise 5: For the forehead

Put your hands horizontally near your hairline (as if you have your head in your hands). Press upwards with your hands and with your eyebrows press in the opposite direction, with the aim of lowering your forehead. This double tension helps us to deal with horizontal wrinkles that appear on our forehead. Repeat this exercise between 15 and 20 times.

Reducing facial flaccidity will no longer be a problem, if you follow this advice. Try the exercises and look for the ones that are more adapted to your needs. Look after your skin and practice these exercises and above all stop worrying about the effect the passage of time has on your skin! It is a symbol that you have lived.
