SPF proteoglycans: stop sunburn with our orange ampoules

Our latest posts have talked about our green proteoglycan ampoules and our red pack, which contains liposomes. Today we want to focus on our “orange” ampoules. While liposomes, for example, are recommended for people with reactive skin, SPF proteoglycans are ideal for people who are exposed to the sun for long periods.

These are the only proteoglycan ampoules that has a sun protection factor rating, hence the initials SPF. Once more, these contain the ame two main ingredients as the basic line of ampoules: 3% proteoglycans and 5% vitamin C, our most treasured formula. ;)

What can they do for us?

The ampoules, like our more traditional range, provide deep hydration, improve the skin’s elasticity and firmness, correct the effects of free radicals and make our face glow.

In addition to these benefits, and unlike the rest of the range, the SPF proteoglycan ampoules also offer protection from solar damage (thanks to their solar filtration effect). If you want to know how to protect your skin in the summer, check out this post on how to identify your skin’s phototype and how to protect it from the sun.

Who are they recommended for?

As we mentioned in our first article, we don’t make recommendations based on age; rather, we look to improve the skin’s condition and appearance depending on each individual’s needs.

These ampoules can be used continuously, as there’s no need for rest periods. For example, you could also switch them for proteoglycan ampoules from the Platinum or Black Diamond range when you need a more intense treatment. Keep up with our blog if you want to learn more about them.

How are they used?

We recommend applying half an ampoule to the face, neck and neckline before your usual cosmetic treatment (whether that’s a serum or a cream). As they provide solar protection filtration, these ampoules are appropriate for use in the mornings. Always remember to use the rest of the ampoule within a maximum of two days of opening it to get the best effects from the product (before the vitamin C oxidises).

As mentioned, once the project is absorbed you can apply your usual treatment, either serums or creams. Each product has a different complementary function and penetration. This means makes it possible to provide much more specific care for the skin’s different needs. The ampoule’s solar protection acts at the cellular level, allowing the active ingredients in your regular treatment products to penetrate into the skin after the ampoule is applied.
